"Attaboy" is the debut studio album from Schnookums, a rock duo consisting of Declan Kitchener and Roger Heathers.

All of the songs on this album with the exception of 'Pick Up the Phone' were written during February 2022 as part of a writing challenge wherein Roger and Declan both wrote 14 songs each. These songs were later discussed on The Weekly Song Podcast.

Recorded in a handful of sessions, "Attaboy" saw Schnookums record many parts as a duo. For instance, drums and bass parts were recorded in the room at the same time, as was the case with many guitar, keyboard and backing vocal perfomances on the album.

Recorded at Minehead Eye, The School Room and Roger and Declan's houses.
